The blending of cocopeat with different sizes of coco chips helps to structure better drainage system which is vital important for growing. The blend is selected in accordance with the expected crops. Coco chip ratio provides room for an excellent air to water ratio. While in production the final blend is compressed with top part with more fine particles and the bottom part with more coarse material for better water distribution and good irrigation.
Some of the suggested blends for Vegetables such as Tomatoes, Cucumber, Egg Plant, Bell Pepper and other crops are as follows.
